School Renovations and Upgrades (2024/2025)

Scope: 

Full contract delivery of large-scale renovations and upgrades, including a new student canteen and commercial kitchen, a community office space, staff kitchen remodel, and the construction of a structural steel canopy for all-weather access between two school zones.

Project Highlights:

• Canteen & Commercial Kitchen: Delivered six new student tech kitchens, plus a fully equipped commercial kitchen installed in partnership with Host Service. The upgrade required extensive plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work to meet strict compliance and client needs.

• Community Office Space: Designed and built a state-of-the-art workspace with four soundproof focus rooms, an open-plan desk area for six, a comfortable lounge/discussion zone, and a modern kitchen for staff use. This created a flexible environment that supports a wide variety of working styles.

• Staff Kitchen Remodel & Canopy: Renovated the upstairs staff kitchen, and constructed a structural steel canopy to provide safe, all-weather access between school zones.

Materials & Finishes:

Fire-rated Eucalyptus Ash veneer used in and around the focus room pods.

American White Oak timber screens to define and soften open spaces.

Outcome:
This project successfully delivered a modern, functional environment that balanced technical requirements with everyday usability. The result is a flexible, future-proofed facility that enhances both student experience and staff productivity.
